Mission trips are planned to Mexico and Cosby, Tennessee. Monthly Sunday evening trips to Birmingham to feed the homeless always need people with a servant’s heart. Opportunities abound for mission minded disciples to aid Urban Ministries, an outreach ministry in West End in Birmingham.
Sending People For Christ is the ClearBranch vision for our mandate to take the good news of Christ to the world with our hands and feet. ClearBranch, from its beginning, has been sending its people locally, nationally and internationally to people whose basic needs for food, clothing, shelter, health care, and a place to worship are not being met.
Ongoing local ministries include feeding homeless people, providing educational assistance to urban children, supporting local area mission efforts that provide food, clothes and assistance to indigent persons, and Christmas projects for needy families with children. A group of ClearBranch volunteers repairs the homes of people in our area who lack the means or ability to help themselves.
ClearBranch has been active in providing aid and construction services to Gulf Coast areas damaged by Katrina. Additionally, each summer a volunteer group travels to the mountains of Tennessee to do home repairs and ministry in poor rural areas.
Several times a year, mission teams travel to Mexico to build neighborhood churches with Mega Missions, a local mission organization that has built over 100 churches in Victoria City, near Tampico. Medical/dental mission trips are also part of the church’s efforts in this area. Annually ClearBranch mission teams in partnership with World Reach, a worldwide mission organization, travel to Lima, Peru to provide medical assistance to impoverished people and vital facility improvements to the mission compound. Over the past ten years, ClearBranch has participated in mission trips to Russia, Africa, Eastern Europe, China and the Caribbean.
