“If
you could do anything you wanted without fear of failure what
would it be?” Bill Hybels asked that question at a Willow Creek
Conference and without hesitation Tommy responded, “Plant a new
church.” The following year (June 1996), after receiving his
Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Asbury Seminary, Tommy
launched ClearBranch with a small group of people meeting in his
home. It has grown from those humble beginnings to where it is
today. Tommy enjoys spending time with his children, Matt and
Breanne, who are both in college, playing golf, reading, and
traveling. He loves the local church and seeing people begin a
new relationship with Jesus, mature in that relationship, and
then serve God using their gifts and passions.
